Engaging Students
When teachers provide access to an equitable education for all, students remain engaged and produce high level learning outcomes. - Kristie McKenzie

While student teaching at Davis in 2nd grade, I had the opportunity to create a virtual presence to introduce the day's activities to the students. I enjoy trying new and creative ways to engage the students, even during transition times! Whenever the students came in and saw a Tellagami on the screen, they were excited and interested to hear what the day ahead looked like. This is just one example of the many opportunities I had to integrate technology into our day at Davis Magnet School. |
